This ABB S202 is a low-voltage miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from the System pro M compact series. It is a 2P (double-pole) breaker with 25A rated current and a C tripping curve. The rated short circuit breaking capacity is 6kA at 230/400 VAC, compliant with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards.
The S202 protects electrical circuits against overload and short circuit conditions. It is commonly used in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications where 2-pole protection is required.
The breaker has a modular design (2 modules – 36 mm width), DIN rail mountable, and includes a trip-free mechanism to ensure safe disconnection even when the toggle is held ON during a fault.
